Robotics is the future, and where better to start than at the grassroots? The DIFI.NET team believes that introducing robotics in kindergarten can ignite a lifelong passion. Under the theme "Designing and Programming While Playing", DIFI.NET team held a special session at Merivälja lasteaed.

With the planet's future in mind, DIFI.NET joined hands with students of Jõhvi vene põhikool for a practical session themed "Green Energy Around Us". From harnessing energy from the sun, wind, and water to hands-on training, this initiative aimed at generating sustainable solutions. The program was part of the project "Rohe STEAM meeskonna moodustamine JVP koolis" ("Formation of the Green STEAM Team at JVP School").

At the Edtech event, DIFI.NET presented the project Oppelabor - a Computational Thinking training ecosystem. Oppelabor offers an advanced bundle for secondary schools, focusing on amplifying student involvement in the learning process. This unique system integrates STEAM while showcasing the intersections of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology, and Programming.

The LabVIEW Basic 2 course teaches you to design complete, stand-alone applications with LabVIEW. This course is an extension of the LabVIEW Basic 1 course and introduces you to common design techniques for successfully implementing and distributing LabVIEW applications for research, engineering, and testing environments. Topics covered include the use of event-driven programming, programmatic control of your user interface, techniques to optimize reuse of existing code, use of binary file I/O functions, and error handling practices. This course directly links LabVIEW functionality to your application needs and provides a jump-start for application development.

Project DORBEETLE presentation to Deutsche Bahn Stations.

DORBEETLE is a smart system designed to control professional cleaning machines. And Deutsche Bahn is the biggest real estate provider in Germany (about 175 million M² property of DB).

DORBEETLE team analyzed a topic is it possible to increase DB customers satisfaction index and decrease expenses. As a result, we found, that IT POSSIBLE if improve cleaning quality by an automated robotic system.

We found that full station cleaning can be done only at night time. For that reason for 2 to 6 employees involved. Only in Berlin is 173 station. Nowadays for big areas cleaning used Scrubber Dryer. It needs a human to drive it. And night shifts are extra expensive. But Robots don’t care what time is it. Humans still will be needed.  Just functions of the human operator will be others. supervision of cleaning process instead of driving the machine. One operator could control up to 6 cleaning machines. Labour cost economy is 17-21%.

DIFI.net as a local representative of Lantronix and Server Technology is organizing a seminar about deploying test systems at the customer side and using special communication equipment.

The part of the developer and the test of engineers work is system deployment at customer side. Then there is a need for remote connection. Some questions are resolved through the system administrator VPN and TeamViewer type software. But, such schemes have a number of drawbacks. The first security policy of many enterprises is forbidden to connect networks that are not part of a group. The second, remote connection to a special machine essentially gives the administrator rights and also is regarded as a risk from the customer. Third, if necessary to update the controller software or the real-time system, the device must be restarted. Fourth, connect to serial or USB port remotely. Therefore, a class of IT infrastructure management devices has emerged that allows us to solve these issues. We will introduce you to the Lantronix product line:

DIFI.NET organize a regional selection of participants to the International IT-Computer Championship "Golden Bite"

"Golden Byte" - the largest open championship in Ukraine for talented youth, enthusiastic IT technologies, has been conducted since 2007. His mission is to support computer talent and develop the IT sphere. The theme of the competition works of the Championship "Golden Byte-2014" - "Changing the World" ("Changing the world").
