Analog electronics laboratory

Cirriculum consists of two sections:

1.  Section «Semiconductor devices» contains 11 labs on subjects such as: diod and stabilitron properties, single-way and full-wave diode rectifier, transistor amplifiers based on bipolar common-emitter, common-base, commoncollector transistor, transistor amplifiers based on field effect common-source, common-drain transistor, multistage

Transistor amplifier, composite transistor, voltage stabilizer based on stabilitron, differential amplifier based on transistors, transistor power amplifier, A, B classes operation, key class operation, PWM power amplifier, RC transistor generator.

2. Section «Analog electronics based on operational amplifier» contains 10 labs on subjects such as: nverting  and noninverting amplifier, inverting and noninverting summator, differential amplifier, cascade amplifier based on operational amplifier, impulse device based on operational amplifier, active filter based on operational amplifier, gyrator, peak detector based on operational amplifier, amplitude detector based on operational amplifier.

Analog elements of measurement equipment laboratory

 The curriculum labs allow to study characteristics of semiconductor devices and another devices based on them. The labs include a research of following elements and devices based on them: semiconductor diod, single-wave rectifier, bridge rectifier, stabilitron, semiconductor switch, controlled rectifier, bipolar transistor, field effect transistor, transistor stage with common-source, inverting amplifier, noninverting amplifier, integrator, differentiator, single-limit comparator, hysteret ic comparator..

Operational amplifiers laboratory

The laboratory is designed for students study of fundamentals principles and operational amplifiers characteristics. All exercises are performed on a special board for the NI ELVIS II included operational amplifiers with various circuits

Digital devices prototyping laboratory
The laboratory is designed for students study of digital devices protyping. Students can create digital blocks in Multisim and then implement them on prototyping board. Also the board includes FPGA Xilinx Spartan-3E chip that programmable in LabVIEW FPGA or Xilinx ISE specialized environment. So, students are given opportunity to create applications to run on a hardware FPGA platform and to connect peripherals to FPGA input/output channels, including LEDs, DIP-switches, push-buttons, displays, seven-segment displays, encoders.

Digital electronics laboratory

The laboratory training equipment of the laboratory is intended for practical study of basic logic operations, parameters and logical elements specifications, digital devices. Within practical work students familiarize with logic elements such as encryptors, decoders, comprararors, triggers, registers, counters, RAM and arithmetic-logic unit, etc.

Microprocessors laboratory

The training equipment of this laboratory is intended for practical study of operational microcontrollers principles. Within practical work of this laboratory students familiriaze with logic elements such as LCD character displays, LED shifting registers, seven-segment displays, I2C bus with connected devices, RS-232 converter, USB converter, board buttons and LEDs.

Circuits laboratory
The laboratory is intended for practical lessons on analog and digital circuits. Students have a opporrtunity to analyze, design a electronic circuits in computer simulation environment Circuit Design Suite and to implement them on NI ELVIS II protyping board. The integrated instruments allow to test and to debug assembled circuits without additional devices.

Automated systems and metrology laboratory
In this laboratory students familiriaze with measurement fundamentals, learn different sensors types and operational principles for a variety of instruments such as multimetres, signal generators, power supply sources, digital analyzers, oscillographes and impulse generators, data acquisition devices. During work students familiriaze with modern methods for measurement automation. Some laboratories are dedicated to certification procedures of measuring instrumentation in accordance with national
metrology standards.

Radio-electronics production laboratory
Labs are based on complete curriculum designed for students of Microelectronics, Circuits and allied professions. The course includes labs on printed board design by using wide spreadly modern programming tools. Student by himself develops a PCB, assembles electronic components on PCB, trace communication lines, creates transitions between layers, and descripts all major steps of PCB development (mask creation, silk screening, etc.). Output files generate in accordance with generally accepted industry standards (examples, “Gerber” files).

Multifunctional measurement laboratory
The laboratory hardware consists of PXI modular platform, modules for various purposes, training boards kit, and adapter for them. Adapter (Mixed Signal Demo Box) allows to connect test signals to educational boards and collect data using PXI modules. At the moment, training boards kit consists of three modules including MI Demo DUT with DAC, ADC and filters, HSDigital Demo DUT with CPLD, temperature sensors and Chip Test Demo DUT FPGAs with FPGA Altera Cyclone II.

Radio-electronics installation, adjustment, alignment laboratory
The laboratory facilities allow to train on production entire cycle of radio electronics, from installation and soldering to analog and digital circuits diagnostic and regulation. The laboratory facilities help to develop skills to work with assembly equipment, control and measurement insruments (multimetres, oscillographes, signal generators, power supply source, digital anazitors and impulse generators, data asquisition devices).

Technical services and electronics diagnostic laboratory
The laboratory facilities are designed for students study of diagnostic techniques and technical services for electronics:household devices, computer equipment,industry equipment and etc. Within practical lessons students familiarize with modern diagnostic equipment and software, in-circuit and functional elecronics testing features, methods for detecting and troubleshooting.
